Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Lafangey Parindey is all set to hit theatres on August 20.Directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj banner, the film is a love story, with streets of Mumbai as a backdrop.
This is Sarkar's second film under the YRF banner. He previously directed Abhishek Bachchan-Rani Mukherjee starrer Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, which did not do well at the box office.
Sarkar debuted as a director with Vidya Balan - Saif Ali Khan starrer Pareenita in 2005, which was a modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel of the same name.
