Almost every producer or director who signs up south siren Namitha for a film wants the bombshell to slip into a swimwear. Even when the role is of a girl-next-door, a raunchy song or a dream sequence featuring Namitha in skimpy outfits and flaunting what she’s famous for is inevitably squeezed in.So, lyricist-actor Snehan’s grouch that he wants to see Namitha in traditional costume of girls in Tamil Nadu wasn’t without reason.
At the audio launch of the upcoming Namitha-starrer ‘Nil Gavani Ennai Kadhalai’, Snehan said, “I want to see Namitha wearing pavadai thavani in a film. I’m sure that’ll be a hit among village girls.”
Smiling, Namitha responded to Snehan: “I’m willing to do roles where I have to wear a half sari. But, which director is willing to offer me such roles?”
The hottie added that ‘Nil Gavani’ is different from other films that solely focus on her sex appeal.
“I’m glad that in Nil Gavani..., I have been offered a role where I’m completely clothed. But, to add glamour, there are some hot numbers,” she revealed.
Well, the hot numbers always find a way in.
Sizzling Maliaka In Love
All the PR she did in the last few months is now paying back. Hot and sexy Mallika Sherawat who’s had her one foot in Hollywood since many months, now tweets about ‘Love, Barack’. This is her next Hollywood film after Jennifer Lynch’s upcoming Hissss which is an Indian production.As per reports, ‘Love, Barack’ tells the story of romance between a Democrat campaign volunteer and her Republican counterpart in the run-up to the 2008 US Presidential elections. Sherawat will essay politico Aretha Gupta, inspired by lady Kamala Harris, the attorney general of San Francisco. The film is going to be directed by American director-producer Doug McHenry.
When Mallika was asked on Twitter about her role, whether she is “the 1st lady or the secretary of state?” the lady answered, “Heheh. or future pres of US lol.”
Can’t laugh out loud at her funny dig but what comes as interesting is the film’s tagline, “Politics has never been this sexy.”
No doubt, Bollywood siren is there to hot up Hollywood!
Dubai wants Katrina Kaif
On December 2, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif performed at a concert in Dubai but what Kat did was not a full-on performance but just a mock jig.Actually that special night was Salman-Katrina nite and both the stars were supposed to dance on some hit numbers for the stage show, but, to the organizers’ dismay, the show could have flopped. Professional Kat was suffering from low Hemoglobin level and was advised bed rest - no dancing, and no singing. In fact, she was advised by docs to not indulge in any kind of physical activity even if she is offered crores for it.
Becharey organizers knew that people have paid staggering entry fees for the double act and seeing only Salman on the show can enrage them to no limits. So Kat was pursued, coaxed and cajoled to attend the event. Then, with doc’s permission, she agreed just for a mock jig and saying ‘Hi’ and ‘Hello’ to the crowd and for blowing some flying kisses as well.
Eventually, last week’s Salman-Katrina nite turned out to be a good show; producers were happy counting money, and Kat, as per reports, was paid Rs 80 lakhs for few precious minutes.

The De Dana Dan experience has left the sweet Katrina Kaif scarred. Yeah, we’re not kidding dearies, the movie is a rib-tickling comedy,alright, but the laughs came after a lot of pain.
Apparently Akki and she were shooting a flooding sequence, she fell down and her ankle was caught under a rope. Katrina started screaming for help; Akshay — who has saved many a damsel in distress — thought she was panicking because of the rising water level, so he repeatedly tried reassuring her that she wouldn’t drown in that depth of water.
Only after her, “Save Me!” squeals didn’t stop, Akshay realised that there was a problem there. By then the rope had cut into her ankle and left a deep scar. In fact the scar is so prominent that whenever her legs are exposed in a shot, she has to spend time covering the ankle with layers of greasepaint. Poor baby! And you thought that comedy was like a walk in the park, huh? Our lovely Katz wouldn’t say so, we think.
Abhi-Ash at Paa Premiere
Bollywood’s super couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai rocked together at the green carpet for Paa premiere. Aishwarya Rai wore a lacy black Sabyasachi saree and made her look sexy by sporting red lips.Talking about Paa, Aishwarya said, “I hope people will enjoy the film. Paa is a simple story said beautifully. It’s about human relations and it’s perfect the he touched upon a subject that needs attention.”
