Lubbock police determined the reported rape case of a Lubbock teen over the weekend was unfounded.
Lt. Neal Barron said detectives closed the case, but wouldn’t release any details about how authorities came to the conclusion that it was unfounded.
A 15-year-old girl told police that a man held her down at knife-point and raped her on Saturday evening.
