SPORTS:These men should not be punished. In fact, they should be commended. The powers that be should actively encourage more physical confrontations between Tour de France competitors. Watching a bunch of dope dodgers ride up and down hills just isn’t enough to interest most people. Nobody cares if Lance Armstrong and his RadioShack team make a move in the next stage.
Now if Lance Armstrong’s RadioShack team competed in well pressed, long sleeved cotton dress shirts buttoned to the top, pocket protectors and taped up glasses, that would be appealing as well. I think people would take a little time out of their lives to watch some nerds pedal in circles.
